The Barwood Family has been developing relationships in the Ottawa region for over 45 years and have become one of the most trusted companies for knowledge, dependability and service. Since 1980 our showroom space has almost quadrupled and our staff has grown from 8 to over 30. We have our own staff of skilled trades people that boasts the 10 finest flooring specialists in the region - it’s one of the reasons Barwood has been chosen by Ottawa’s four biggest home builders to provide flooring for the region’s newest housing developments.

Delivery – we say what we do, we do what we say

Some popular hardwood flooring is always in stock, but special orders can take 2 to 3 weeks to be delivered from a factory (as much as 8 weeks in summer). We maintain an extensive inventory that is stored in a humidity-controlled environment, so most of the time, we can move quickly to meet your flooring needs. More importantly, we constantly monitor factory inventories so we can tell you on the spot when you can expect delivery. And, because we have close relations with manufacturers and distributors, we’re not standing in line waiting for your order.

Information – we don’t sell, we educate you into buying

You’d think hard sales would go hand in hand with hardwood but at Barwood Flooring we believe quite the opposite is true. Come into our showroom. Loiter. Smell the rosewood. Ask questions. We know a lot about hardwood flooring and we like to share it . We’re not going to rush you into a decision but when you’re ready we are: we can provide you with estimates and scheduling on the spot or arrange to visit your home or office (generally within 72 hours).
